Privacy Policy

Cadre ("Cadre", "we", "us") builds a scheduling and analytics tool for Threads creators. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control of it.

What we collect

• Account info — your name, email, and password (or the OAuth identity if you sign in with a provider like Google).
• Threads data— when you connect a Threads account via Meta's OAuth flow, we store the access token and the account info, posts, replies, and metrics (views, likes, follower counts) Threads' API returns for that account, so Cadre can schedule, publish, and show you analytics.
• Content you create — drafts, scheduled posts, and any brand/voice context you give our AI assistant so it can write in your voice.
• Billing info — handled by our payment processor, Polar. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data— basic product analytics (pages viewed, features used) so we know what's working.

How we use it

• To publish and schedule your Threads posts on your behalf, only when you ask us to.
• To show you analytics on your own account's performance.
• To generate AI-drafted post suggestions, using your provided context and a third-party AI model provider under a data-processing agreement — your content is not used to train their general models.
• To send product, billing, and account emails (via Resend).
• To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't post anything to Threads without you scheduling or approving it. We don't share your Threads data with anyone outside the processors listed below.

Who we share data with

• Meta / Threads API — to publish posts and read analytics for accounts you connect.
• Polar — to process subscription payments.
• Resend — to deliver transactional and product emails.
• Cloudflare — to store media (e.g. post images) you upload.
• Our database and infrastructure providers, solely to host the service.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a Threads account at any time from Settings, which revokes our access token immediately. To delete your account and all associated data, see our Data Deletion page.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. EU/UK users have rights under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these, email us below.

Children

Cadre is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you by email.
